Ive watched both the Spanish and FUNimation dubs and it seems that alot of
the hate that the English version is getting is the fact that they got rid
of the original soundtracks and backgound music. Its valid cause I thought
the original music was great but at the same time FUNimation did a great
job with some of the themes such as Vegeta's, Super Buu's, and Gohan's.
Being bilingual allowed me to enjoy both of them but I got to pick the
FUNimation (English) dub as the superior one. FUNimation's voice actors
staight up did a better job, better dialogue, and more depth to the
characters personalities. Perfect Cell is a good example, in the Latin
American dub he just sounds like a mindless monster, in FUNimation he is
more likable with an actual personality and better lines. The thing about
the Latin American dub is that voice actors dont sound really neutral and
have heavy "Mexican" accents. Its a dub made for Latin America in general
it would of been better with more neutral voice actors.
